How Does Zno Pixel Make Culling Decisions?
When you cull a project, Zno Pixel analyzes each image and looks at several factors to determine how it should be categorized.
These include:
- Sharpness: Pixel evaluates image sharpness to identify photos that may be blurry or out of focus.
- Closed eyes: Pixel detects when subjects have their eyes closed so those images can be reviewed separately.
- Similar images: Photos taken in the same sequence or that look very similar are grouped together, making it easier to compare them without reviewing every image individually.
- Overall selection: Using these factors together, Pixel identifies the photos it recommends keeping and separates images that may need additional review.
Once culling is complete, each image receives a star rating that corresponds with its filter group. This makes it easy to see why an image was categorized a certain way and quickly move between different groups while reviewing your project.

You can review every category, change an image's rating, and move photos between groups at any time. You can also adjust your culling settings, including how strictly Pixel evaluates sharpness, to better match how you prefer to review your work.
