If you purchased a Zno Instant subscription package, the Pro Plan includes an allowance of up to 8,000 photos per month and the Pro Plus Plan includes an allowance of up to 15,000 photo uploads per month.
Definition of Photo Upload:
The number of photo uploads includes the photos uploaded onto an Instant Gallery, photos that were uploaded onto but later deleted from the Instant Gallery, and photos that were uploaded onto but later replaced in the Instant Gallery. Overage billing is calculated from the total photos uploaded per month.
Unit Price for Additional 1,000 Photo Uploads:
Additional uploads are charged in whole blocks rather than per individual photo. There is no pro-rated charge per the number of photos.
Examples:
- 1,000 additional photos = 1 block = $20
- 1,001 additional photos = 2 blocks = $40
- 1,500 additional photos = 2 blocks = $40
- 2,000 additional photos = 2 blocks = $40
What happens if I go over the limit during a live event?
During the standard upload window, uploads will not be interrupted even if the photo allowance is exceeded. Any additional fees will be automatically charged monthly to the credit card on file.
If a payment fails, the user receives an email notification detailing the failure and guiding them to update their payment method.
If outstanding overage balances are not resolved, the user will not be allowed to create new galleries or unlock locked galleries for additional uploads.
Billing Cycles:
- Monthly Subscriptions: The photo billing month aligns directly with the subscription start and end dates.
- Annual Subscriptions: The annual subscription period is divided into 12 monthly photo billing cycles.
Users can view how upload charges work upon publishing the Instant Gallery, as seen below:
Users can track their subscription-based galleries' Upload Allowance & Usage under My Subscription > Zno Instant, where one of three statuses will be displayed (see below):
1. Within Upload Allowance: Current uploads do not exceed the allowance for the active monthly cycle. Clicking into the page displays the cycle start/end dates, total allowance, and remaining allowance:
2. Over Upload Allowance: Current uploads exceed the allowance for the active monthly cycle. Clicking into the page displays the cycle start/end dates, total allowance, photo overage amount, and estimated overage fees to date:
3. Payment Due: Current uploads exceeded the allowance, and the event has ended (upload window is locked). Before a new Instant Gallery can be used, the card on file must be updated and the overage fees must be paid:
Overage fee invoices can be found under My Subscriptions > Billing History. Below is an example of what an overage fee invoice will look like:
